Outer containers are an accepted means of enclosing the casketed remains of a loved one within a grave. The purpose of a burial vault is to maintain the grave from the effects of settling and contamination by ground water. Except for concrete boxes, the remains are protected from water, air and elements of the soil.

Metal Vaults
Clark burial vaults are manufactured of strong reinforced steel and copper with a variety of carefully selected metals to assure durability and peace of mind. These types of outer burial containers provide the utmost protection and are available in galvanized and non-galvanized models. They feature a very heavy 7 gauge, and 10 and 12 gauge steel. 10 or 12 gauge copper is also available. Prices range from $1,835.00 - $20,136.00
Concrete Boxes
Concrete boxes offer the same features as a vault, however they are not reinforced. The purpose of the box is still to protect the grave from the effects of settling and outside forces of water or excess weight. Prices range from $885.00 - $7500.00
Mausoleums
Individual mausoleums are large granite or terrazzo memorials that are placed atop a sealed reinforced concrete vault. Prices range from $2,550.00 - $3,980.00
Urn Vaults
Urn vaults offer the same features as the larger casket vaults. An urn of cremains may be enclosed in an urn vault, this type of vault also helps to maintain the grave from the effects of settling. Urn Vault prices range from $280.00 - $1,080.00
